Buccaneers DL Ndamukong Suh offers praise for WR Antonio Brown

Controversial wide receiver Antonio Brown officially joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in October to play alongside close friend and former New England Patriots teammate Tom Brady. The transaction worked well for all involved. Brown finished the regular season with 45 receptions for 483 yards and four touchdowns across eight games, scored during the playoff win over the Washington Football Team and found the end zone in the Super Bowl victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Buccaneers defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh offered praise for the 32-year-old wideout during a recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast.

"Good dude, always had a great relationship with him. So for me, it was easy," Suh said of Brown, according to Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk. "Obviously, ‘BA’ [coach Bruce Arians] was very public with what his expectations were for AB, and he followed through. So I give him all the credit for doing that. And I think that’s really all he needed, was to understand what was expected of him. And that’s really what 90 percent of people in the world [want] — give me the expectations of what you need from me and then let me go and be an adult. And that’s really what he did."

Brown is set to hit free agency, but there's reportedly mutual interest in him re-signing with Tampa Bay.
