Forget about one offensive coordinator candidate for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator will join John Harbaugh, the New York Giants’ recent head coaching hire, instead after their time in Baltimore. The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported it recently. Todd Monken was one of the Buccaneers’ interviees for the offensive coordinator role after Josh Grizzard’s firing. The Buccaneers aren’t short on options, but Monken would have been a strong fit. Former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel would also be an ideal fit, and he interviews on Friday, FOX Sports’ Greg Auman reported. McDaniel could easily not come to Tampa, however, amid his many options, and some of his suitors may be more eager now with Harbaugh off to New York. Among candidates interviewed, former Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan had a strong performance when he previously worked with the Cincinnati Bengals offense. Detroit Lions passing game coordinator David Shaw’s work speaks for itself with quarterback Jared Goff’s continued strong performance. Arizona Cardinals quarterback coach Israel Woolfork had quarterback Jacoby Brissett clicking in 2025. Former Giants interim head coach Mike Kafka had quarterback Jaxson Dart going strong. Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson had quality production from his unit the past two seasons, especially 2024. Tampa Bay isn’t thin on options for offensive coordinator.
