The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finalized their first 53-man roster for the 2026 regular season Tuesday afternoon. The initial roster features a 25-25 split between offense and defense, with Tampa Bay building extra depth in the trenches.

OL:Wirfs, Bredeson, Barton, Mauch, Goedeke, Chukwuma, Skule, Feeney, Schrauth, Haggard
DL: Vea, Kancey, Robinson, Roberts, Núñez-Roches, Capehart, Simmons

LB: Anzalone, Trotter, Rozeboom, Dennis, Fordham
CB: McCollum, Parrish, Morrison, Scott, Garnes
S: Winfield, Smith, Killebrew
ST: McLaughlin, Dixon, Deckers
The roster can and almost definitely will change over the next several days. However, its current form addresses several of the Bucs’ offseason priorities. Tampa Bay focused on getting bigger and deeper along the defensive front while adding more options to its edge-rushing rotation.
The Buccaneers added A’Shawn Robinson, Rakeem Nuñez-Roches and rookie DeMonte Capehart during the spring. That investment showed up in the final roster, with Tampa Bay keeping seven defensive linemen while also maintaining a five-player edge rotation.
The biggest surprise comes in the secondary, where Tampa Bay kept only eight cornerbacks and safeties combined. That could create an opportunity for the Buccaneers to add another defensive back in the coming days.
Cornerback Josh Hayes was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return. He can eventually return to the active roster after missing at least four games, potentially providing another option in the secondary.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will enter the 2026 season with 10 rookies on their 53-man roster. That group includes all seven players from the team’s most recent draft class.
Tampa Bay also has 28 players who are 26 years old or younger. While that still gives the roster plenty of youth, it represents a slight shift toward experience compared to last season.
