Buccaneers Place OT Luke Goedeke on Injured Reserve

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without starting left tackle Luke Goedeke for at least four weeks after placing him on Injured Reserve Thursday.

Via Fox Sports Greg Auman, 

“Bucs tackle Luke Goedeke’s foot injury is significant enough that he’s going on injured reserve and will miss at least the next four games. Tried to play through injury Monday night and had to leave the game after 12 plays.”

Keep in mind, as Auman stated, the earliest Goedeke could come back is after four weeks. Without knowing the severity of his injury, it could take longer.

Ok, deep breath… the Buccaneers have made a series of moves bringing in offensive line help, as well as adding some from the Practice Squad. But this is definitely a unique situation. One that will test the Bucs coaching staff, front office, and ultimately the players called upon to step up.

So basically to recap, Cody Mauch and Luke Goedeke head to Injured Reserve. And Dan Feeney and Luke Haggard to the 53-man roster to replace them. Add that too everyone else on the O-line not playing their traditional position equals…. Pounding the Rock! I need a shot,
