The Tampa Bay Buccaneers stormed into preseason action on Saturday night, dominating the Tennessee Titans 29-7 in a commanding performance at Raymond James Stadium.
Unfortunately, the game saw the injury bug rear it’s ugly head. Buccaneers Running Back Rachaad White went down with an injury early in the preseason opener.
White tweaked his groin on a 12-yard rush in the first quarter and was unable to continue playing. He had six carries for 28 yards before exiting the game.
On Monday morning, Head Coach Todd Bowles spoke with the media stating White’s injury status is day-to-day. Insinuating that the groin injury isn’t as serious as previously feared.
White’s absence could give Sean Tucker an opportunity to play more and potentially earn more touches. Bucky Irving is the lead running back.
