Buccaneers’ RB Suspended 6 Games for PEDs

The Buccaneers are losing running back Josh Williams for six games due to a suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy. Williams, an undrafted rookie from LSU, has appeared in three games this season and will be eligible to return on Dec. 22.

“Bucs rookie running back Josh WIlliams has been suspended for six games without pay for violating the NFL’s Performance-Enhancing Substances Policy. He has played in three games this season, with four carries for 11 yards.”

Josh Williams will be eligible to return from his suspension on December 22, following the Buccaneers’ Week 16 game against Carolina. The undrafted LSU rookie has played in three games this season, serving as a kick returner in Week 5 against Seattle and rushing four times for 11 yards in the Week 8 win over New Orleans.
