The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are bolstering their defense with a familiar face, re-signing cornerback Bryce Hall to a one-year deal, according to Tampa Bay Times writer Rick Stroud. Via Stroud, “#Bucs are signing CB Bryce Hall to a 1 year deal. Hall was injured in the season opener against Washington last year after signing with the Bucs as a free agent. Solid veteran now the No. 3 CB again for the Bucs.” Hall, who joined the Bucs in 2024, will slot in as the team’s third cornerback, behind Zyon McCollum and Jamel Dean, pending any potential roster moves through the draft.

Hall’s 2024 Season Cut Short

Bryce Hall joined the Buccaneers in 2024 after a three-year stint with the New York Jets (2020-23). Initially expected to provide depth, Hall’s opportunity arrived sooner than expected due to injuries in the cornerback unit. He made his Buccaneers debut in the season opener against the Washington Commanders. However, his season was tragically cut short when he suffered a dislocated ankle and fractured fibula in that same game, sidelining him for the remainder of the season.

Hall’s Second Chance with the Buccaneers

With a fresh start, Bryce Hall returns to the Buccaneers, bolstering the team’s cornerback depth. Throughout his NFL career, Hall has accumulated notable stats, including, two interceptions, and 122 tackles.
