The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are signing free agent running back and former Baltimore Raven Owen Wright. This follows injuries to running backs Josh Williams and D.J. Williams.

Via Fox Sports Greg Auman,

“With two running backs injured, Bucs are signing former Ravens RB Owen Wright, who worked out for them Wednesday and was a tryout player at rookie minicamp. Once had 89 yards and a TD vs. Bucs in 2023 preseason game.”

After going undrafted in 2023, Owen Wright joined the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent. He initially made the practice squad after being waived, but got a promotion to the active roster on October 28, 2023. Wright signed a new contract with the Ravens in January 2024, only to be placed on injured reserve in August 2024. The Ravens did not tender him on offer making him a free agent in June of this year.
