Bucs are signing rookie linebacker Nick Jackson back to their practice squad. Tough cut, but cleared waivers and gets to stay in Tampa.

Jackson, who impressed during the preseason with 14 tackles, 2 sacks, and an interception, was recently released by the Buccaneers after the team trimmed its roster to 53 players.

Despite his promising performance, the team opted to keep fellow undrafted linebacker John Bullock, citing Bullock’s value on special teams. Jackson’s experience and skills make him a strong candidate for the practice squad, where he can provide depth and potentially fill in for injured players
