Right Tackle Luke Goedeke is locking in his future with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, agreeing to a four-year contract extension.
“Bucs have agreed to a four year extension with T Luke Goedeke.”
“The #Buccaneers and right tackle Luke Goedeke have reached agreement on a four-year, $90M extension with $50M guaranteed, per sources. Tampa’s front office and agent @chase_callahan worked to finalize before Week 1,”
Goedeke was a 2-year starter at RT for Central Michigan before becoming a 2nd-round pick for the Buccaneers in 2022. Goedeke played LG where he started as a rookie. He eventually moved back to RT where he’s thrived.
Goedeke was due for a contract extension, and the Buccaneers acted prudently to sign him before his final rookie year concluded. Given his consistent improvement, locking him in now likely saved the team from a steeper price tag in free agency. By extending him now, the Buccaneers secured a key piece at a more manageable cost.
