Tampa Bay Buccaneers sign second-round cornerback Benjamin Morrison to his rookie contract. Morrison, a 20-year-old from Phoenix, Arizona, was a four-star recruit ranked No. 37 cornerback in the 2022 high school class. He initially committed to Notre Dame in June 2021 and enrolled that January.

Via NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo,

“The #Buccaneers agreed to terms with CB Benjamin Morrison. The 53rd pick gets 96% guaranteed in the third year of the deal. Deal negotiated by Ryan Tollner and Rick DuPont of @excelfootball with Peighton Roth of the Bucs.”

With the No. 53 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Buccaneers selected Morrison. His rookie contract is projected to be four years and $8,209,282, including a $2,610,390 signing bonus. During his three-year collegiate career at Notre Dame, Morrison played in 31 games, accumulating 61 total tackles, 18 pass defenses, nine interceptions, and one touchdown.
