When Mike Evans hyperextended his knee last Sunday during the Buccaneers' win over the Falcons, fans feared that the superstar wide receiver would not be available for the team's wild-card game this weekend. Evans may end up playing after all. ESPN's Jenna Lane reported that the receiver was seen jogging during practice Thursday.

Evans also participated in practice on Tuesday, but it was just a walk-through. Head coach Bruce Arians said that he would not have been a part of it had it been a full-speed practice.
While Evans has had some growing pains while adjusting to playing with Tom Brady for the first time, he still managed to become the first receiver in NFL history to begin his career with seven straight 1,000-yard seasons. And even though he finished the year with a career-low 1,006 yards receiving, he set a career-high with 13 receiving touchdowns.
Tampa Bay is considered a heavy favorite over the Washington Football Team, who won the NFC East despite having a losing record, but the Bucs' offense will take a massive hit if it does not have Evans as the No. 1 receiver. While the team is loaded with great offensive weapons, including Antonio Brown, Chris Godwin and Rob Gronkowski, Evans remains the team's top receiving threat.
Bucs coach Bruce Arians said that he was not sure if Evans would play against Washington but said he still felt there was a real chance the star WR would be on the field for his first playoff game.
"I think he’s got a chance," Arians said. "He’ll be a game-time decision."
