Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans was initially listed as doubtful for the team's Week 1 matchup against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, but that has since changed.
According to ESPN's Jenna Laine, Bruce Arians has upgraded Evans' status to questionable. He said the 27-year-old's status will depend on his level of soreness after testing his hamstring as a limited participant in Friday's practice.
Arians says the three-time Pro Bowler was dealing with a soft-tissue injury and would be a game-time decision, so don't expect to hear more about his status until game time.
If he suits up, Evans will be among Tom Brady's top targets alongside Rob Gronkowski and Chris Godwin. The 27-year-old reeled in 67 receptions last season for 1,157 yards and eight touchdowns.
