Bucs give Bruce Arians, GM Jason Licht new contracts entering 2021 season

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians and general manager Jason Licht are being rewarded for building a Super Bowl-winning squad.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Buccaneers have agreed on a revised contract for Arians that includes a pay raise. Licht also has a new deal that ensures he'll be in Tampa for multiple years.

It's unclear how much money Arians and Licht are receiving. Salaries for coaches and general managers are rarely made available.

Arians is heading into his third season as head coach of the Bucs. The 68-year-old is 18-14 with the franchise, and that record should only improve with Tom Brady on board for the next few years.

Licht, meanwhile, has been with the Buccaneers since 2014. He was able to retain all key contributors to last season's Super Bowl roster, which is pretty impressive. Several players (Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Brown, Leonard Fournette) signed with the Bucs to join Brady, but Licht's ability to get contracts signed should not be overlooked.
