Bucs QB Tom Brady has shoulder issue ahead of Saints game?

Earlier this week, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was able to joke about leaving the pocket for multiple rushing attempts during last Sunday's overtime win over the Buffalo Bills:

Perhaps those plays were more costly than anyone realized at the time.

According to Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk, the Buccaneers added Brady to Friday's injury report with a right shoulder issue. The seven-time champion signal-caller was listed as a full participant and carries no injury designation into the weekend, so everybody should expect the future Hall of Famer to be in the lineup come Sunday.

Brady and company lost at the Saints 36-27 back on Halloween, and it will be interesting to see if his play is at all affected because of what seems to be a non-serious setback. Some will likely remember the 44-year-old previously said he played through the entire 2020 season with what was eventually called a fully torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee that was never disclosed on an official injury report, so don't assume he'll unveil any specifics about the shoulder at any point between Friday evening and, if he's still active at the time, Super Bowl Sunday.
