Budweiser released their Super Bowl LX commercial nearly two weeks early, well ahead of The Big Game between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots. Once again, it features their famous clydesdales.
If you want to get excited, other than with the cuteness of the animals featured in the 60-second spot, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird” is the track on the commercial. The commercial celebrates 150 years of the iconic beer brand.
If you want to shed a tear and rock out at the same time, well before Super Bowl LX, you can watch it below. Perhaps it’ll still hit different during the game’s commercial windows.

Another fun fact surrounding this ad, the Eagles are back in the Super Bowl! Well, not exactly. SI Now’s John McMullen pointed out that “Lincoln,” the trained bald eagle used during pregame of Philadelphia Eagles games, is the one featured in Budweiser’s commercial.
The Eagles fell short of a repeat bid this year, losing 23-19 to the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card round. The 49ers in turn, lost 41-6 to the Seattle Seahawks, who just beat the LA Rams Sunday to advance to the Super Bowl. Maybe Philly fans can use the transitive property.
In any event, Super Bowl LX will feature QBs making their first appearance. Drake Maye, a second-year man out of North Carolina, will lead the Patriots. On the flip side, veteran Sam Darnold’s career resurgence continues as he went from a career year in Minnesota in 2024 to another in ’25, leading Seattle to their fourth Super Bowl appearance.
It wasn’t easy for Darnold, as he’s been dealing with an oblique injury throughout the postseason. Head coach Mike Macdonald has been very impressive with his signal caller’s toughness.
“Three hundred and something yards, three touchdowns, no picks,” Macdonald said of Darnold. “Every time they went and scored again, he came back. He had some big-time throws on third down, two-minute drive, four-minute drive. The guy barely practiced all week. Just really happy for him. he deserves it. He’s been a rock for us all year.”
