The Buffalo Bills have swung and missed in the past few first rounds. They’re trying to build around Josh Allen and set this offense up in a way that can roll through the playoffs. All things considered, they’ve missed the mark. But this Bills 2026 mock draft can show a way the team could improve, and hopefully get over the hump this playoff run.
A lot of draft analysts will look at Concepcion as an underclassman and put him in the “slot only” bucket. But in 2025, he showed the ability to play outside, handle press, and separate almost at will. This wide receiver room is in serious need of a facelift, and Concepcion is just step one of trying to create a room that has complementary body types and explosiveness to match Allen’s playstyle.
Lawrence made himself a lot of money at the Combine this week. There’s a world where he’s not available at 60, but with a relatively shallow EDGE room, the Bills will need to take swings on upside. Lawrence has explosiveness and plays an unhinged style of football that will resonate with Bills Mafia out of the gates. He’s been rising up draft boards since October, and he keeps climbing every time he laces his cleats up.

It would be malpractice for the Bills not address the position in multiple ways this offseason. Maybe they make a splash in free agency, but the wide receiver class of free agents is relatively shallow, with Alec Pierce and Wan’Dale Robinson topping the realistic options. Rather than throwing a briefcase of money at Romeo Doubs, the Bills should take a swing at a freakazoid of a prospect who can stretch the field today and could become a true alpha down the road. Brazzell would be one of the fastest Bills receivers of the past five years.
Dixon was a standout at the Senior Bowl. He’s been a success story of the transfer portal, starting at Long Beach City College and finishing by getting pointers from Bill Belichick. Dixon has been studying the tape of Aqib Talib, Ty Law, and other Patriots defenders while at UNC, so keeping him out of New England and adding a rotational piece to this secondary would be a win-win for the Bills in this mock draft.
On day three, we’re looking for special teams utilization or physical freaks. Luckily, Elarms-Orr is both. He had some of the best testing numbers at the Combine this week among inside linebackers, and he played over 100 snaps on special teams for TCU in 2024. In 2025, he was a regular part of their defense, but still had some responsibilities on punt return and field goal block. If a fifth-round pick can be a situational linebacker and a consistent contributor on special teams, it’s a homerun. And Elarms-Orr has all the ingredients to be both.
