Buffalo Bills add speedster with 10 career TDs to Josh Allen's arsenal
Mack Hollins Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills have added a field-stretching wide receiver to quarterback Josh Allen‘s supporting cast, agreeing to terms with Mack Hollins, a league source confirms.

News of Hollins’ deal was first reported by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Hollins, 30, is one year removed from the most productive season of his career when he caught 57 passes for 690 yards and four touchdowns. In addition to his production in the passing game, Hollins has developed a strong reputation as a special teams ace.

Since being chosen by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Hollins has pulled down 131 receptions for 1,691 yards with 10 touchdowns while posting a career 12.9 yards per reception average.

How Mack Hollins Fits Buffalo Bills Offense

A top priority for the Buffalo Bills this offseason, as general manager Brandon Beane and the organization navigated a difficult salary-cap situation, was finding a complementary weapon for Stefon Diggs in the vertical passing game.

Hollins is as effective a slot receiver as there is in the NFL, with the speed to take a top off opposing secondaries.

Last season in Atlanta, even amid wildly inconsistent quarterback play, Falcons signal-callers logged a stellar 93 passer rating when targeting Hollins, who didn’t drop a single pass during the 2023 campaign.

Buffalo represents the chance to land in a system and around a strong receiving corps to bring out the best in Hollins when the 2024 campaign begins.

Mack Hollins Aims to Put 2023 Injuries in Rearview

Hollins aims to prove he can stay on the field, stay healthy, and remain effective in 2024.

Last season in Atlanta, Hollins missed three games due to an ankle injury that limited his role in the offense. During the 2023 campaign, Hollins was limited to 18 receptions for 251 yards.

Finally healthy, Hollins should walk into the starting slot receiver job for the Bills with the opportunity to climb Josh Allen’s target hierarchy.
