Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen Gets Another Wide Receiver in Latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft

The Buffalo Bills finished with a 12-5 record last season. Buffalo lost in the AFC Divisional Round to the Denver Broncos. The Bills decided to make a change at head coach and fire Sean McDermott.

Buffalo promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady as the next head coach. For some odd reason, the Bills kept Brandon Beane as the general manager. With him staying around, there is no doubt that this raised some eyebrows across the NFL landscape.

Well, Beane has made one move at wide receiver already this offseason and traded for D.J. Moore from the Chicago Bears. There is a chance that he may not be done adding wide receiver talent to this roster. There is no doubt that quarterback Josh Allen needs more playmakers around him. Buffalo will have the 26th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

CBS Sports Mock Draft Has the Buffalo Bills Selecting Wide Receiver Denzel Boston

Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports created his latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft. With the 26th overall selection, he has the Bills selecting Washington Huskies wide receiver Denzel Boston. Fornelli said, "The Bills took a big swing on DJ Moore to address their needs at receiver, but this offense still lacks a prototypical big-bodied X, and I think everyone in Buffalo is ready to move on from the Keon Coleman experiment. Boston isn't flashy, but he's polished and gives Buffalo a lot of what its receiving corps is missing."

Boston is 6'4" and weighs 209 lbs. They need to do everything to get more playmakers for Allen before the 2026 NFL season. Buffalo needs more than just trading for Moore. They do have Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman, but those are third and fourth receivers.

During the 2025 college football season with the Huskies, Boston caught 62 passes for 881 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns, along with averaging 14.2 yards per reception. There is a chance that he could be off the board before the time the Bills are on the clock.

He has been projected to be a first-round selection for quite some time. If Buffalo were to draft him, Allen is going to have a big target to throw to on the outside and in the red zone as well.
