Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is the first quarterback in NFL history to have four consecutive seasons of 40 or more total touchdowns.
In 2023, he posted 44 total touchdowns with 29 passing scores and 15 on the ground.
Bleacher Reports' Gary Davenport did his 2024 quarterback stat predictions, and while his projections don't include another 40 touchdown season for Allen, his numbers do look quite good.
Davenport's predicted numbers for Allen are as follows:
The biggest takeaways from these projections are that Allen is projected to have five fewer interceptions. And while his interceptions were far overstated a season ago (which you can read about in my analysis of all 18 of his interceptions below), the number being smaller would obviously be a good thing.
His 31 passing touchdowns would be two more than a season ago, as well. I would, however, push back on the lack of rushing touchdowns. The Bills are going to utilize Allen in the run game much more extensively. Watching Allen under Joe Brady last season, the Bills leaned more into Allen as a runner. So when Buffalo is close to the end zone, especially, expect more than eight scores on the ground from No. 17.
