Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills got back on track in Week 13, jumping to 8-4 on the 2025 NFL season after a 26-7 win over Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, the Bills will look to make it two-straight in Week 14, returning home to host Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Allen, coming off his first MVP season in 2024, has seen his statistics dip this year, completing 243-of-350 passes for 2,832 yards, 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Still, he has proven himself to be one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks. And before he became a star in the pros, Allen was a standout at the University of Wyoming.

From 2015 to 2017, Allen became arguably the best player in Wyoming history, throwing for 5,066 yards, 44 touchdowns and 21 interceptions, while adding 767 rushing yards and 12 scores. And on Nov. 22, Allen was invited back to Laramie, Wyoming, to have his No. 17 college jersey retired when Wyoming hosted Nevada.

But ahead of his big day, Allen had a request for a fan in the Wyoming student section, asking for the biggest possible beer snake, a long, stacked chain of empty cups passed through the crowd.

"You, come here, you" Allen said, pointing to the fan. "I need the biggest beer snake possible. Alright. I need the biggest beer snake possible.

And sure enough, Allen’s request was granted, as the fans had the beer snake stretch nearly the entire length of the stands. The Bills took notice, sharing a video on social media with the caption: “Cheers, @University of Wyoming .”
