Buffalo Bills sign linebacker following rookie minicamp
JAMIE GERMANO / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Buffalo Bills concluded their rookie minicamp this weekend, and for some it was a matter of earning a job or continuing to search for an opportunity.

One of those players who joined the Bills for minicamp will be getting a chance to be part of the team this fall.

The Bills signed linebacker Joe Andreessen who played his college ball at Buffalo.

Andreessen made an impact last season with Buffalo. He had 90 tackles with the Bulls last season, including 12 for loss. Pryor to that, he attended Bryant University, where he recorded 117 tackles and four sacks, as well as two interceptions in 2022.

Andreessen was a second-team FCS All-American in 2022, as well as a first-team All-Big South selection.

At the very least, Andreessen will be a name to watch in preseason as someone who could make the team as a depth linebacker who also plays special teams.
