In a completely unexpected move, the Buffalo Bills have traded star receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, per Adam Schefter.
In return, the Bills are receiving a 2025 second-round pick, while also sending a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick to Houston.

This comes less than 24 hours after Diggs replied to a tweet saying Josh Allen didn't need a game-changing receiver to be great by saying "You sure?"
Diggs and the Bills have seemed to have mounting tension for sometime now. Last offseason, he was absent from the first day of mandatory minicamp, which caused several to speculate that Diggs wanted out of Buffalo.
There was also the incident on the sideline during Buffalo's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2022-23 divisional round of the playoffs where he could be seen yelling at Josh Allen.
It seems the Bills were just done with the constant passive aggressive social media behavior, as well as maybe realizing that Diggs' best days are behind him. While he had a 1,000 yard season in 2023, he didn't have a 100 yard game after Week 6. Now, the Bills could be a candidate to trade up in the draft to land their new franchise receiver.
Diggs spent four seasons with the Bills, making the Pro Bowl in all four seasons and being named All-Pro in 2020.
