Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears have continued to shock the world. After being down 18 points at halftime, the Bears continued their fourth quarter magic to beat their hated rival the Green Bay Packers 31-27 in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs
Despite the first half struggle, Williams delivered when he needed to the most like he has throughout the entire season. The Bears’ quarterback threw 2 touchdown passes in the late fourth quarter to help the team advance into the divisional round.
The Bears’ star then fired a pretty awesome message at the Packers during Saturday’s postgame presser.
According to Jason Liser of the Chicago Tribune, Williams dropped a subtle warning at the Packers. “We’re here and we’re and we’re going to be here for a long time,” Williams said.
The Bears’ second year quarterback now has more wins over the Packers than former quarterbacks Jay Cutler, Mitch Trubisky, and Justin Fields combined. It’s only Williams’ second year in the NFL.
The second-year quarterback completed his seventh fourth quarter comeback of the season and in the most perfect way possible, by eliminating the Packers.
Williams and his clutch performances ain’t going anywhere, and the Packers should be very worried about that.
