It's an evil world we live in (Future voice) and Bears quarterback Caleb Williams got hilariously pranked by a couple of kids pretending to be his next head coach.

In one of the funnier phone pranks you'll see, a fan found a way to get in touch with last year's No. 1 pick on his personal phone posing as Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson — one of the hottest names over the last two coaching cycles.

"Hey Caleb, this is Ben Johnson," the fan texted the QB. "Just wanted to reach out ahead of time before it gets released to the media, I will be taking the HC job. Very excited to work with you in the future. Great things."

"Actually? Ben," Williams replied.

"Yes," they responded. "I wanted you to be the first to know. We will talk more as the season winds down."

It was at this point that you could tell the former Heisman Trophy winner was starting to get excited.

"Okay cool," Williams wrote back. "Sounds good. I'm def excited for the future! Let's get this [expletive] going and turn it around n do what hasn't been done in years! In the meantime!! [Expletive] go kill! We'll talk soon!"

That's when the kids FaceTimed Williams for the ultimate reveal and it actually turned into a pretty wholesome interaction.

"Hey Caleb, it's me Ben Johnson," the fan said as Williams smiled. "Hey, you're a great QB. But I'm so glad that you're gonna get a new head coach. I don't know if it's Ben Johnson but I'm sorry about this."

"It's all good, all good," Caleb chuckled.

"Hey the nails are tough," a friend interjected. "You're a GOAT bro, you're a GOAT!"

Who knows if Williams will ever get to play under the real Ben Johnson. But this is certainly something neither Caleb nor the kids pranking him will ever forget.
