Source confirms Calvin Ridley had “minor” foot surgery 2 weeks ago after lingering issue from 2020. It’s possible he will miss the start of training camp but he’s “not in danger” of missing start of season, source said. @TheAthletic— Jeff Schultz (@JeffSchultzATL) June 9, 2021
With Jones injured for much of the 2020 season, Ridley emerged as Atlanta's leading receiver. The 26-year-old caught 90 passes for a career-high 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns.
The Falcons are hoping Ridley and rookie tight end Kyle Pitts will be able to fill the void left by Jones.
