Cam Newton works with new teammate N'Keal Harry at throwing session

Cam Newton will be taking the field with a whole new receiving corps this fall, but he is making sure to get to know some of his new teammates before September, as a new video shows Newton throwing passes to New England Patriots receiver N'Keal Harry.

A video posted on Instagram shows the two meeting up in L.A., with Newton showing off his arm while Harry runs routes. According to John Aguero, the two worked out for about two hours, and Cleveland Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. also showed up to catch some passes. This is not the first time Newton has met up with a Patriots teammate, as he was seen working out with Mohammed Sanu last week.

Both Harry and Newton are hoping to develop a connection that can jump-start both of their careers, as they are coming off disappointing seasons. Harry, a receiver taken by New England in the first round, only had 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns in his rookie year. Meanwhile, Newton had yet another season shut down due to injury and was eventually forced out by the Carolina Panthers.

With Tom Brady gone, Newton has a real chance to become the next franchise quarterback for the Patriots, and a key part of winning the trust of the team and fans will be establishing a connection with his fellow offensive players, including Harry. If Newton can do that, he could be well on his way to once again being considered one of the best talents in the NFL.
