Can Cowboys 'Keep Rolling And Rolling' Toward Playoffs?
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The feel-good vibes are slowly returning to The Star as the Dallas Cowboys have now won back-to-back games after a five-game losing streak, with the 27-20 win over the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium another step in a positive direction.

With so much doom and gloom around the franchise, wins over the Washington Commanders and now the Giants have that winning feeling reverberating around the locker room.

But we know how fickle the NFL can be, and it doesn't take much for that winning feeling to be replaced; however, for left guard Tyler Smith, while the win over the Giants was nice, he wants to keep this momentum going.

“It was great, but I think the biggest thing is just continuing to stack success,” Smith said. “We got this one win at home, let's keep it going, let's keep rolling and rolling, and at the end of the day, let's see where we end up.”

At 5-7, the Cowboys are still in with a shot, albeit a long one, of making the playoffs, and based on what we've seen this year, one could argue that Dallas isn't a playoff team.

Do wins over Washington and New York change that? For some, yes, and for others, no. We will get a good indication of how much improvement Dallas has made when it welcomes the Cincinnati Bengals to AT&T Stadium in Week 14.

But for now, the Cowboys are basking in back-to-back wins, which just a fortnight ago seemed like a long shot. One thing is for certain: Dallas isn't about to let this winning feeling dissipate.
