The Cincinnati Bengals are looking to recover from their defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles as they prepare to host the Las Vegas Raiders Sunday afternoon.
The loss to Philadelphia ended Cincinnati’s two-game winning streak, making this matchup crucial for the Bengals.
Meanwhile, the Raiders are similarly in dire need of a victory, having experienced a four-game losing streak. Las Vegas is coming off two narrow losses to the LA Rams and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Las Vegas began the season with four consecutive losses, each by ten points or more. However, their recent performances have shown significant improvement.
Two weeks ago, the Raiders kept it close against the Rams, covering the spread as 7-point underdogs, even with four turnovers on their side. Last week, they continued this trend by covering the spread as 8.5-point underdogs against the unbeaten Chiefs.

Experienced quarterback Gardner Minshew had an impressive outing, hitting on 24 of his 30 pass attempts for 209 yards and tossing two touchdowns.
At the same time, rookie tight end Brock Bowers kept up his strong showing in his first season, exceeding 50 receiving yards for the fourth straight game and for the sixth time this year. Bowers leads the team with 535 yards receiving on the season.
The Cincinnati Bengals struggled at the start of the season, losing their first three games and putting their playoff aspirations in serious doubt.
However, they bounced back by winning three out of their next four matchups. Their momentum came to a halt with a recent loss to Philadelphia, making this upcoming game against a struggling team crucial for them. Cincinnati has had success against weaker opponents this season, securing victories over teams like the Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, and Cleveland Browns.

Quarterback Joe Burrow boasts an impressive 20-8 record in games played between November and January, having led the team to playoff appearances in 2021 and 2022.
Wide receiver Tee Higgins, who missed last week’s game due to a quad injury, is currently listed as doubtful for this week. On a positive note, tight end Mike Gesicki stepped up last week with seven receptions for 73 yards.
The Bengals are set to face a Las Vegas team that has made history by trailing by double digits in each of its first eight games this season.
The Bengals are tremendous favorites in this matchup, oddsmakers have favored them to the tune of -400 on the moneyline. There doesn’t seem to be much value on that one.
With that being said, they’re favored by eight points on the spread which is past the key number of seven. This feels like too many points, so I would back the Raiders and the eight points in this one at -110 odds at BetMGM.
Raiders +8 points is the best bet in this one.
