The Arizona Cardinals' 2024 opponents have been set, with nine home games and eight away games locked in.
Along with the usual NFC West lineup, Arizona will face the entire NFC North and AFC East. Additionally, the Cardinals will play the last-place members of the NFC East, NFC South and AFC West, teams that were all locked into place before Week 18 even began.
Here's how the schedule shakes out:
Heading into Week 18, the combined record of Arizona's 2024 opponents (counting NFC West rivals just once) is 104-120, or a .464 winning percentage.
It's no surprise that Arizona's opponents combine for a record under .500 because, well, it's a last-place schedule. It's unfortunate for the Cardinals that the 2023 season finished the way it did, though having a last-place schedule can certainly be beneficial for the next season.
Notable games on Arizona's 2024 schedule include home matchups with the New England Patriots and Washington Commanders, teams that could possibly feature USC quarterback Caleb Williams depending on how the 2024 NFL Draft shakes out. Williams was mocked to the Cardinals aplenty earlier this season, but the sentiment of Arizona chasing a QB that early has seemingly changed.
Other notable games include big matchups against fellow NFC squads like the Detroit Lions at home and the Green Bay Packers on the road. The toughest AFC teams Arizona will face include the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills, the latter of which could be a cold game if it's scheduled late in the season.
The Cardinals' full 2024-25 regular season schedule with dates and times set will be released in May.
