The NFC West Division had a major bombshell dropped that could be good news for the Arizona Cardinals.
After 14 historic seasons in Seattle, they have decided that they needed a new leader, firing longtime head coach Pete Carroll today.
Seahawks Chairperson Jody Allen came out with a statement, clarifying that Carroll will transition to an advising role going forward.

While with the Seahawks, Carroll was at the helm as he led them to becoming Super Bowl XLVIII Champions in 2014, beating the Denver Broncos 43-8. They made back-to-back Super Bowl appearances, but then lost 28-24 to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in 2015.
His coaching record for the Seahawks will stand at 137-89-1 after his last game in charge was in the 21-20 win over Arizona on Sunday.
The Cardinals have struggled mightily against Carroll since he arrived in Seattle in 2010, going 9-18-1 all-time and 0-5 in their last five against him.
Now, Seattle will be on the lookout for a new voice on and off the field.
