"I'll reject that."
Jones will enter the final year of his contract in 2021 and counts for $20.8 million against the cap. If the Cardinals cut the three-time Pro Bowler, they'd save $15.5 million.
While it appears Arizona won't cut Jones, Keim wouldn't reveal whether or not he's had extension talks with the Syracuse product, according to team reporter Kyle Odegard.
Jones appeared in just five games during the 2020 campaign after tearing his bicep. He had 11 tackles, one sack and seven quarterback hits. In 2019, he recorded eight forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, 19 sacks, 53 tackles and 26 quarterback hits.
With Jones sidelined for most of the 2020 season, Haason Reddick became the Cardinals' top pass rusher.
