Manning played with Harrison Jr.’s father, Marvin Harrison Sr., when they were on the Indianapolis Colts together. From 1998 to 2008, Manning and Harrison Sr. were teammates and were considered one of the best quarterback-wide receiver duos of all time.
During their time in Indianapolis, the teammates combined for 114 touchdown passes and won Super Bowl XLI in 2007.
Harrison Jr. enters his second year in the NFL, hoping for a breakout season. Last year with the Cardinals, the WR caught 62 passes for 885 yards and had eight touchdowns.
The viral moment linked a past generation with a new and promising star who is only getting started on his journey in the NFL.
The Arizona Cardinals and the Denver Broncos will face off in preseason action on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 6:30 p.m.
