In the 2020 NFL Draft, Ojemudia was drafted in the third-round (77th overall) by the Denver Broncos after spending four years at the University of Iowa.
He played a little more than two seasons for the Broncos in 21 games, with 73 tackles and eight passes defended. Ojemudia was on the Chicago Bears for a game in 2022 before being on the Los Angeles Rams’ practice squad last year.
Ojemudia now joins a list of other cornerbacks including Garrett Williams, Darren Hall, Kei’Trel Clark, Quavian White, Starling Thomas V and Divaad Wilson who are all signed for next season with the Cardinals.
This deal secures another depth piece for Arizona in that position in case soon-to-be free agents Bobby Price, Antonio Hamilton and Rashad Fenton decide to leave for another organization this off-season.
