In his junior season at Brophy Prep, he recorded 52 catches for 720 yards and nine touchdowns. The Broncos would be eliminated in the 6A semifinals to Mountain View 28-27, Devin had eight catches for 102 receiving yards in the loss.
Devin is one of the many sons of former NFL players to be a part of Brophy’s football program, with last year’s roster having four other names. Daylen Sharper (Darren Sharper), Donovan McNabb Jr., Bastian Vanden Bosch and Case Vanden Bosch (Kyle Vanden Bosch) all a part of last year’s Broncos roster.
The 6’2 wide receiver had plenty of offers from elite programs, like UCLA, Stanford, Clemson and more, but elected Norte Dame who fell one game short of its 12 national title. Devin looks to pave his own path with the Fighting Irish to follow the greatest Cardinals wide receivers in the franchise’s history.
