GLENDALE — Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson and tight end Pharaoh Brown were front row for a different kind of action on Monday night.
Benson, entering his second season with the Cardinals, and Brown, in his first months with the team, appeared ringside at WWE’s Monday Night Raw at Desert Diamond Arena.

They were shown on the broadcast before a tag-team match featuring The New Day against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. They also held up a custom Cardinals championship belt, one of the newer collabs between NFL teams and WWE.
The appearance offered a change of scenery for Benson and Brown, who embraced the crowd’s cheers.
This wasn’t the first time a Valley player has appeared on Raw this year. Former Arizona State and current New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo was featured on the show a few weeks earlier.
Like Skattebo, the Cardinals players’ appearance introduced them to a new audience and could help expand their personal brands beyond the NFL.
While the team has had its troubles over the last few weeks, seeing two players appear unexpectedly was a treat for fans of both wrestling and football.
