Cardinals Named Landing Spot for Premier Corner
Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The dust has settled on the Arizona Cardinals' first wave of free agency signings, and the team collected four defensive starters in Justin Jones, Bilal Nichols, Sean Murphy-Bunting and Mack Wilson on the opening day of festivities.

Yesterday, the team sniped running back DeeJay Dallas from the Seattle Seahawks to add to their special teams.

What's next for the Cardinals?

Pro Football Focus says Arizona is a potential destination for free agent CB Kendall Fuller:

"Fuller was the lone bright spot in the Commanders' cornerback room in 2023, and while he is plenty capable as a wide cornerback, perhaps his prior experience in the slot and at safety could make him attractive to teams that desire the ability to move the savvy veteran around as he and his game ages," wrote Brad Spielberger.

Bringing in Fuller on top of Murphy-Bunting would be a tremendous win for the Cardinals, which would seemingly overhaul their secondary in a matter of days after relying on a trio of rookies (Garrett Williams, Starling Thomas V and Kei'Trel Clark) on top of names such as Antonio Hamilton and Marco Wilson in 2023.

Fuller was recently ranked as the No. 1 available free agent by Bleacher Report:

"Though Fuller isn't the biggest (511", 198 lbs) or fastest defensive back in the 2024 free-agent market, he possesses a solid blend of play strength, quickness and experience. He can also bring veteran leadership and a playoff pedigree, having won a Super Bowl with Kansas City in 2019," wrote B/R.

"Fuller should be valued as a Week 1 starter and should garner consideration from both playoff hopefuls and rebuilding teams alike. With L'Jarius Sneed and Jaylon Johnson both getting the franchise tag, Fuller becomes the top player available at a very premium position."

Fuller just turned 29-years-old and has an estimated market value of $13.6 million per season on Spotrac
