Cardinals officially sign Marvin Harrison Jr.
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals have officially signed No. 4 overall pick wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to his rookie deal.

Harrison becomes the highest draft pick of any team to sign so far. The top three quarterbacks, Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye, are still negotiating contracts with their respective teams.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Harrison’s contract is for four years, $35.3 million with a team option for his fifth year (2028), a $22.5 million signing bonus and all of it fully guaranteed.

In three seasons (2021-23) at Ohio State, the 6-foot-4, 205-pound Harrison played 38 games, collecting 2,613 yards from 155 receptions and 31 touchdowns. Last year, the Philadelphia native suited up for 14 games, snatching 67 catches for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns.

During his time in Columbus, he was a two-time unanimous All-American, Richter-Howard Receiver of the Year, and first-team All-Big Ten. The OSU superstar also was the 2023 Graham-George Offensive Player of the Year and Fred Biletnikoff Award winner.

Harrison is expected to immediately be the Cardinals’ No. 1 wide receiver. Harrison, recently-signed veteran Zay Jones, second-year wideout Michael Wilson, Greg Dortch and Zach Pascal highlight the receiving corps around Kyler Murray. The Cardinals also added one other receiver in the draft in UAB product Tejhaun Palmer, who was drafted 191st overall.

The Cardinals have now signed nine of their 12 rookies, which means they have three more left to sign: first-round defensive tackle Darius Robinson, third-round running back Trey Benson and fourth-round safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson.
