Fortunately for No. 5 Arizona, the other half of their backfield tandem -- Chase Edmonds -- indicated on Thursday that he will suit up against No. 4 Los Angeles. Furthermore, Edmonds expressed optimism that his teammate in the run game will give it a go in the opening round.
Chase Edmonds didn’t want to speculate about James Conner’s status for Monday but he said: "I find it very hard to believe J.C. is going to miss this game."

In his first season with the Cardinals, Conner led the team in rushing attempts (202), rushing yards (752) and rushing touchdowns (15), while adding 37 receptions for 375 yards and three touchdowns through the air as well. The 26-year-old played the first 14 games of the regular season, before missing Weeks 16 and 17 with a heel injury, and returning in Week 18.
Arizona and Los Angeles are scheduled to kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Monday.
