Cardinals Pro Bowl RB James Conner likely a game-time decision vs. Rams

Only Jonathan Taylor finished with more rushing touchdowns in the NFL this season than Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner. The former Pittsburgh Steeler is in serious danger of missing his team's NFC wild-card playoff game on Monday against the Los Angeles Rams, though.

Fortunately for No. 5 Arizona, the other half of their backfield tandem -- Chase Edmonds -- indicated on Thursday that he will suit up against No. 4 Los Angeles. Furthermore, Edmonds expressed optimism that his teammate in the run game will give it a go in the opening round.

In his first season with the Cardinals, Conner led the team in rushing attempts (202), rushing yards (752) and rushing touchdowns (15), while adding 37 receptions for 375 yards and three touchdowns through the air as well. The 26-year-old played the first 14 games of the regular season, before missing Weeks 16 and 17 with a heel injury, and returning in Week 18.

Arizona and Los Angeles are scheduled to kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Monday.
