GLENDALE – The work done during the offseason is what makes championship-winning teams. Super Bowl winning quarterbacks like Tom Brady always discussed the importance of working and bonding with teammates after the season. Whether running routes with receivers or going through drills, the work always shows on the field the following season.
However, sometimes the bonding has to go beyond the field, and building a trust with one’s teammates happens off of it. Knowing this, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray arranged a bonding trip with teammates to L.A., which is the “best part of the year.”

He arranged a similar trip last offseason and once again thoroughly enjoyed their time together.

Murray appreciates the camaraderie between his teammates and sees it as his favorite part of his football lifestyle. Obviously, winning takes top priority, but the small moments with teammates are the one’s that Murray and other players will remember the most. However, it might have an even greater impact on the field.
The 27-year-old had a similar trip with teammates last year, which led to Arizona doubling its win total from the past two seasons. Murray had his best season since 2020, recording 3,851 passing yards and 21 touchdowns. The six-year Cardinals quarterback and his team overperformed and it could be connected with Murray taking a bigger leadership role and arranging bonding trips to build chemistry with teammates.
