The Carolina Panthers will make changes to their approach going into the 2025 preseason.
According to Mike Kaye of the Charlotte Observer, Dave Canales and his staff will incorporate more playing time for all starters. Most NFL teams have opted to sit key players, prioritizing health and safety. However, the Panthers will switch up for a smooth transition into the regular season. This will benefit Bryce Young and the offense the most. With a few new coaches and playmakers around the former top pick, using every advantage will be necessary.
Teams across the league struggle with finding a balance between injury risks and meaningful playing time. This is due to enhanced safety measures put in place by the NFL to protect players. Not only are a team of medical spotters and doctors watching for injuries, but they have real-time capability to review plays and make calls down to the field. The process is part of the game evolving with technology advancements.

During that time, Young completed 61.8 percent of his throws for 2,104 yards and 15 touchdowns compared to six interceptions.
