CBS Under Fire for Inaccurate Josh Allen Graphic

Entering Sunday afternoon's game against the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen was the frontrunner for the NFL's MVP award.

However, his MVP odds took a hit after he struggled against the Patriots. He finished the game completing 16-of-29 passing for just 154 yards with one touchdown and an interception while adding another 30 yards on the ground.

After the game Baltimore Ravens fans who believe Lamar Jackson is getting overlooked for the MVP award this season took to social media to point out an interesting graphic from CBS. Fans noticed that the network didn't include Allen's interception with his other stats, but did so for Patriots quarterback Drake Maye.

"CBS showed a graphic comparing Josh Allen & Drake Maye tonight and removed Allen’s interception from the graphic but conveniently added Maye’s. Shameless," the fan pointed out

That led to another fan capturing a screenshot of the graphic.

Fans are convinced CBS is doing its best to ensure Allen wins MVP...for some reason.

"So one touchdown and no interceptions for Josh Allen? CBS is pure propaganda protecting Allen like that, they want this dude to win the MVP so bad and he doesn’t have the stats to back it up," a fan said.

"It was clearly an 'arm punt' not an interception," joked another.

Late in the fourth quarter, Allen appeared to be dealing with an injury to his throwing arm, which he later described as a shot to the funny bone nerve.

“Lost some feeling in my hand. Just hit the funny bone nerve,” he said, via ESPN. “It took a good five to ten minutes, so just making sure, trying to get some blood flow back in there. So it was a weird feeling. Just glad it’s gone now.”

Allen and the Bills improved to 12-3 with the win and kept their hopes for the No. 1 seed in the AFC alive. Up next is a battle against the New York Jets before closing out the season against the Patriots once again.
