CeeDee Lamb got one the scoresheet for the Dallas Cowboys last Thursday against the New York Giants, enjoying a long touchdown pass from Dak Prescott. He may have enjoyed the moment too much, drawing a taunting penalty on himself for the celebration. Dallas was assessed a 15-yard penalty during the game and now, more punishment has come in.
The NFL has fined Lamb over $25,000 for two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, one of which was the taunt. Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network reported the news on Saturday afternoon. A hefty chunk of change for someone who just received a historic contract extension from the Cowboys.
“The NFL fined #Cowboys star WR CeeDee Lamb $25,324 for two unsportsmanlike conduct violations last week — including taunting on his touchdown,” Pelissero said via X.

Lamb finished the game with a nice performance, catching seven of the eight passes thrown his way for 98 yards and a touchdown. There has not been a 100-yard performance yet from the star wide receiver and he was incredibly close against the NFC East rivals.
