CeeDee Lamb Has Telling Reaction To Cowboys, George Pickens Trade

The Dallas Cowboys have officially found a wide receiver capable of forming a lethal duo with CeeDee Lamb.

On Wednesday morning, the Cowboys acquired fourth-year wideout George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers. As part of this trade, they parted ways with a 2026 third-round pick and 2027 fifth-round pick. They also received a 2026 sixth-round pick from the Steelers.

Pickens has been productive for the Steelers since entering the NFL in 2022, hauling in 174 passes for 2,841 yards and 12 touchdowns. However, there are legitimate concerns about his antics on the field. He had plenty of outbursts in Pittsburgh.

It'll be fascinating to see how Pickens coexists with Lamb both on and off the football field.

Before this trade was announced by NFL reporters, Lamb posted a GIF of Ralph from "The Simpsons" waving hello. It certainly sounds like he was made aware of this blockbuster move involving Pickens.

In theory, Pickens should help Lamb see more single coverage this fall. If that happens, he could put up career numbers in Dallas.

Lamb is coming off a season where he had 1,194 receiving yards and six touchdowns. It's worth noting that he missed two games due to injury and didn't have Dak Prescott at quarterback for the second half of the year.

When Prescott was healthy for the entire 2023 season, Lamb had 135 receptions for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns.

We'll see if the duo of Lamb and Pickens leads the Cowboys to an NFC East title this fall.
