The Super Bowl will be decided on Sunday with a matchup between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. It's a battle between two teams that finished the regular season 14-3, and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb believes he knows which team will win.
The teams have taken different paths in the playoffs. After securing a first-round bye, the Seahawks got past their division rivals in the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams. Meanwhile, the Patriots played in all three rounds, defeating the Los Angeles Chargers, Houston Texans and Denver Broncos.
However, they both had just one-score wins in their conference championship games. New England beat Denver 10-7 in the AFC Championship Game, and Seattle beat Los Angeles 31-27 in the NFC Championship Game.
With everything on the line, Lamb appeared on "The Rich Eisen Show" and chose the Seahawks to come out on top.
“I do think the Seahawks pull it off, I do, just because they both do have a great defense, but I feel like Seattle has a lot of crazy firepower on offense," Lamb said.
Through the regular season, Seattle's big-play ability became an identity. Their 12 completions of 40-plus yards were tied with the Cowboys for the most in the NFL. It was a similar story on the ground with the NFL's second-most 20-plus yard rushes at 18.
Lamb also revealed he's rooting for Seahawks defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, who spent seven seasons with the Cowboys from 2018 to 2024.
"He's able to perform, he's got a couple touchdowns on his own, and it was good to see ... for him, to see him flourish right now, it's a great thing for him, and I'm obviously happy," Lamb added.
While Lamb had a solid season with 75 receptions for 1,077 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games, it will remain to be seen if his prediction becomes true. Kickoff is 6:30 p.m. ET Sunday at Levi's Stadium, airing on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
