Chargers Injury Report: 2 Key Offensive Bolts Questionable For Patriots Clash
USA TODAY Sports

Entering their game with the New England Patriots this weekend, the Los Angeles Chargers have two key offensive players listed as questionable on the injury report. Star wide receiver Keenan Allen and offensive tackle Trey Pipkins will likely be game-time decisions.

Getting Pipkins active will be huge for the Bolts, as they need to protect quarterback Justin Herbert in this game. The Patriots may not be a very good team, but their defense can look decent at times.

Making sure that Herbert has time in the pocket to throw the ball will be key for the Chargers this week. They haven't done a great job of late, but have a chance to put together a solid game. Having Pipkins in the lineup would bring a big boost to the team.

As far as Allen goes, his production speaks for itself. He has been the go-to guy for the Bolts offense, and he doesn't seem to be slowing down at all.

Allen is putting up incredible numbers and is on pace for the best season of his career. They badly need him out on the field, as their offense has been inconsistent with him in the lineup.

The hope is that they can get both players to be active for this massive game against New England. LA desperately needs a victory, and having them both would go a long way in delivering on that goal.
