Chargers Injury Report: Sick Bolts Defender Officially Ruled Out Against Packers

Chargers safety JT Woods has been ruled out ahead of the Bolts' visit to Lambeau to take on the Green Bay Packers, per Daniel Popper of The Athletic.

Woods is dealing with an illness, and for this reason, was limited throughout the week, but has since been ruled out.

This hampers the Chargers' depth in the secondary, where they're already a bit depleted. Safety Raheem Layne and cornerback Amechi Uzodinma have been on injured reserve, which, combined with the trade of former starting cornerback J.C. Jackson, has put the Bolts down three DBs that were on the original 53-man roster.

Woods should be expected back for the Bolts' Sunday Night affair with the 8-3 Ravens next week.
