The Los Angeles Chargers are adding an experienced assistant to their coaching staff under Jim Harbaugh. Los Angeles has been busy, and Lal is their most recent move.
The Chargers are hiring Sanjay Lal as their new wide receivers coach, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Lal was last with Seattle as pass-game coordinator. Long track record with NFL receivers.
Lal is 54 years old. The veteran coach spent the past two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks as their WRs coach and passing game coordinator. He also worked in Seattle as a senior offensive assistant in 2020. He's been a part of one of the best WR cores over the past few seasons with D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
The 54 year-old has been coaching in the NFL since 2007. That's nearly two decades of experience in the league. Notable.
He's been WRs coach for the Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, and New York Jets during his time in the NFL. Lal was a popular candidate over the past few weeks as teams try to fill out their staffs.
