Sunday turned out to be an absolutely brutal day for the Los Angeles Chargers.
They were not only on the wrong end of a 37-23 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but they also lost one of their best defensive players, cornerback J.C. Jackson, to a significant knee injury, in the words of head coach Brandon Staley.
According to Ian Rapoport, the injury is reportedly a fractured kneepcap.
#Chargers CB J.C. Jackson dislocated his kneecap, source said, which explains the air cast to stabilize. The MRI tomorrow will show what damage he suffered during the dislocation.

Jackson was placed in an aircast when leaving the game. This is potentially a season-ending injury for Jackson.
Along with the injury to Jackson, the Chargers also lost starting wide receiver Mike Williams to an apparent ankle injury late in the fourth quarter.
The Chargers signed Jackson to a five-year, $82.5 million contract in free agency this past offseason in the hopes that he could help turn around their defense and be a key piece of their secondary.
