With a length injury report, the Chargers are hoping to get back their starting tackle duo in LT Joe Alt and RT Trey Pipkins III. Their absence in the past few games has really stretched this offensive line to its limits, making QB Justin Herbert’s life almost unbearable in the pocket.

If they’re able to suit up tonight, it’ll be a massive boost for the Chargers against a Brian Flores-led defense that’s notorious for bringing exotic blitzes and simulated pressures.

OUT

FB | C.J. Ham (Hand)

OLB | Andrew Van Ginkel (Neck)

QUESTIONABLE

QB | J.J. McCarthy (Wrist)

RB | Aaron Jones (Hamstring)

RB | Xavier Scott (Ankle)

LT | Christian Darrisaw (Knee)

RT | Brian O’Neill (Knee)

The loss of OLB Andrew Van Ginkel is a huge blow for this terrorizing Vikings defense. He’s one of their primary pass rushers, alongside OLB Jonathan Greenard, already tallying up 2 sacks despite missing the past four games.

The good news is Minnesota just activated RB Aaron Jones off of IR, which indicates that he’ll be ready to play tonight after spending the past month on IR. He’ll likely get worked in gradually alongside RB Jordan Mason as he gets back into it.

Regardless, he elevates the run game significantly, especially against an LA defense that just surrendered 3 TDs to the NFL’s leading rusher in RB Jonathan Taylor.
